Hi!

My name is Julie Johnston and I am a consultant and floral designer. I am also a mom, a cancer survivor, and the wife of a cancer survivor.

I grew up in Trumbull, CT and attended Brown University where I received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. I moved to San Francisco after college and worked as a consultant and project manager in tech for six years before deciding to pursue my passion for flowers. I was hired by Fiori, a floral design shop based in San Francisco, where I learned all of my design techniques. I worked at Fiori and began doing freelance consulting at the same time to keep my technical and project management skills up-to-date.  After spending 13 years in California, my husband and I moved back east to be closer to family. I now do both consulting and floral design out of my home office in CT.
